| Presentation abstract: | The majority of UK companies rely heavily on paper when it comes to communicating with suppliers, customers, Government organisations and even their own employees. Business critical documents are traditionally printed out and then posted to their destinations. In fact research from organisations like SAP, Gartner and the AberdeenGroup indicates that a £500m company produces over 88million documents per year and that between 80% and 85% of these documents are then sent out in the post. This reliance on paper has lead to document systems characterised by slow processes, a lack of visibility and labour intensive procedures. In this presentation Bottomline Technologies explores the 7 deadly document sins that the majority of these companies commit, how they cost time and money, and then outlines ways to automate and streamline these processes. This presentation focuses on the true cost of paper delivery and retrieval systems, common misconceptions on improving document efficiency and how Document Process Automation (DPA) can bring tangible benefits. Bottomline seeks to turn the many document sinners out there into document Saints and to take confession from our congregation, along with the steps required to transform your document processes into an efficient, automated and precise operation. |
